Fifth Doctor- Portrayed by Peter Davison

Fifth Doctor- The fifth doctor exhibits most limited aspect of personality compared to all his previous incarnations. This time the scientific accuracy is more concentrated upon than the silly humor and individual eccentricities. He keeps on traveling into future and past and encounters villains like Monarch and the Mara. This doctor is vulnerable, sensitive and reserved instead of being funny. His appearance helps him to conceal the fact that he is a Time Lord of great age, compassion and experience. He has been shown as the most courageous of all the previous incarnations. He is not afraid of taking chances. The fifth doctor regenerates into sixth incarnation in a strange way. His last companion Peri Brown is exposed to the drug spectrox in its fatal lethal raw form on Androzani Minor. As only one dose of antidote is on hand, so he forfeits his life to save Peri and regenerates into the sixth doctor.
